ACHS Open Meeting at Dairy Queen

On Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 2:00 PM Aransas County Historical Society will have an open meeting at Dairy Queen, Rockport. The first one in a year! Come by, check in, chat and find out what’s been happening around ACHS.

Harvey Recovery

The Aransas County Historical Society, like most of its members, was impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Perhaps the most significant impact to the Society was the loss of the space that had been home to the ACHS Lab. The result of this is that we are not currently able to provide access for the public to our collections. We are currently seeking a new space that will allow reopening the Lab to the public. Please check this space periodically for updates.

Newsletter Updates – Coming Soon

We are currently in the process of updating the Aransas County History Society website. We will begin posting current newsletters again soon!
